Boyband CHIC
Ursprünglich als halbfiktive und projektbasierte Boyband gegründet hat sich das Kollektiv längerfristig als Künstlergruppe ausgerichtet. Seit der Gründung 2018 setzt es sich mit den Mechanismen der Populärkultur und Popmusik auseinander und hinterfragt diese im Bereich der Kunst performativ. In ihrem Wirken verbindet Boyband CHIC Pop-, Sub- und Hochkultur miteinander und zelebriert die enge Freundschaft innerhalb des Kollektivs. Aktuell besteht Boyband CHIC aus David Bregenzer, Simon Lanz, Noël Oppliger, Samuel Rauber und Flavio Witschi.

Originally founded as a semi-fictional and project-based boyband, the collective has since oriented itself as an artist group. Since its founding in 2018, the group has dealt with the mechanisms of popular culture and pop music, and questions them performatively in the realm of art. In their work, Boyband CHIC combines pop, sub, and high culture and celebrates the close friendship within the collective. Currently, Boyband CHIC consists of David Bregenzer, Simon Lanz, Noël Oppliger, Samuel Rauber, and Flavio Witschi.
